Your solution
is at the forefront of reducing carbon emissions in the mobility sector, whether through low-emission vehicles, energy-efficient infrastructure, sustainable logistics, or other pioneering approaches. This prize recognizes startups that have transitioned from initial stages to significant growth, demonstrating impactful solutions for cleaner mobility. The award highlights the EIB’s commitment to fostering innovative projects that contribute to Europe’s climate goals and advance the green transition in transportation.
Your Prize
Will be awarded by one of the leadership of the the European Investment Bank and the European Innovation Council, offering increased visibility, strategic connections, and access. More on the specific programme will be shared soon.
Future mobility

Your solution
Builds clean, resilient and future-ready transport infrastructure, supporting the decarbonisation of mobility through smart, digital and robust systems.
Your Prize
Will be awarded by the French Minister for Transport during the Award Ceremony in Luxembourg in October 2026. The winning startup will be invited to Paris to present its solution to the Ministry, with potential opportunities for deployment in France and high-level visibility within the European mobility ecosystem.
River Mobility

Your solution
Contributes to a more sustainable future of inland waterways transportation by innovating in the fields of decarbonation, digitization, charging, green engines, logistics, autonomous boats and solutions that speed up the modal shift to blue sustainable mobility alternatives.
Your Prize
Will be awarded by Cécile Avezard, CEO at VNF. In addition to meeting with experts, VNF will offer visibility (exhibition during key professional events), and POC opportunities (with funding up to €500K through the PAMI).
Rail Mobility

Your solution
Contributes to the digitalisation and sustainability of the passenger and/or freight rail sector. Your startup ties in with at least one of Europe’s Rail Flagship Areas, namely: Network management planning and control & Mobility Management in a multimodal environment; Digital & Automated up to Autonomous Train Operations; Intelligent and integrated asset management; A sustainable and green rail system; Sustainable Competitive Digital Green Rail Freight Services; Regional Rail Services / Innovative rail services to revitalise capillary lines; Innovation on new approaches for guided transport modes.
Your Prize
Will be awarded by Giorgio Travaini, Executive Director of Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking. The awarded startup will gain visibility within Europe’s Rail broad network and will be invited to showcase their product/innovation at relevant occasions.
Female Entrepreneur

Your solution
Was initiated, founded, or led by a female leader who is still bringing it forward today. It’s time we showcase feminine leadership and role models!
Your Prize
Your Prize will be awarded to you by Tillly Metz, Member of the European Parliament during the Award Ceremony in Luxembourg in October 2026. The winner will also be invited to present their technology in the European Parliament.
Academic Venture

Your solution
Was founded or co-founded by a researcher, doctoral candidate, postdoctoral researcher, or faculty member of a university or public research institution, whose core technology or business model derives directly from research conducted within an academic setting (e.g., university chair, laboratory, or affiliated research group, in a technical or engineering domain). The venture must operate as an independent legal entity, regardless of any licensing or collaboration agreements still in place with the originating institution.
Your Prize
Will be awarded to by TUM Venture Labs during the Award Ceremony in Luxembouerg in October. You will be granted full membership to TUM Venture Labs, including priority access to its exceptional investor network, as well as a place in the acceleration program offered by TUM Venture Lab Mobility.
Maritime Mobility

Your solution
Aims to reduce the environmental impact of maritime activities while promoting sustainable, efficient, and connected maritime transport systems. Startups competing for this award will be those developing cutting-edge technologies such as smart ports, which integrate IoT and AI to optimize port operations, to enhance cargo management, automate docking procedures, enable real-time monitoring of vessels, and promote green port initiatives. Additionally, innovations focused on alternative propulsion technologies for ships, such as hydrogen, wind-assisted propulsion, or electric vessels, are also encouraged.
Your Prize
Will be awarded on behalf of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco at the Closing Ceremony. The winner will also be invited to present its solution to the government of Monaco (for potential business collaboration) and to the Prince Albert II Foundation (for potential investment).

Based on a very selective evaluation process with the best mobility experts:
- The TOP 30 will benefit from visibility and access to a private Demo Day with EU institutions 50+ European VCs and CVCs.
- The TOP 10 startups will be supported by our team, and benefit from an acceleration programme, powered by TUM Venture Labs.
- In addition to the EUSP acceleration and investment program, our Special Prizes can offer access to expertise, POCs, visibility through events, and funding opportunities.
